The piece
A sui dhaga - a threader earring - finished with a round stone that sits on the lobe like a stud.
From the front it reads as a solitaire stud, and the difference only shows when you turn your head. The fine chain passes through the piercing and falls behind the ear with nothing to fasten, ending in a slim bar that keeps its line straight. The stone is held in four prongs on a short bar: the most familiar of the three petite sui dhaga cuts, and the quietest.
