The piece
A princess-cut stone in each ear, held at its four corners - the stud from the men's signature pair.
A princess cut is square in outline and brilliant in its faceting, so it pairs a hard edge with a lot of light. A claw at each corner protects the points of the stone, the part of a square cut most exposed to knocks, while leaving its sides open. A push lock closes it. It is the heavier of the two men's claw-set studs.
