The piece
A single stone at the centre, circled by loops of silver wire that swirl around it like petals opening.
Where the rose stud is sculpted, this one is drawn: round wire is wound in overlapping loops around the stone, so the flower is made of lines rather than surfaces, and light passes through the gaps between them. The centre stone is held in prongs and stands proud of the wire, which makes this the bolder of the two Bloom studs. A push lock closes it.
The Bloom stud for evenings. It needs nothing else at the ear.
