The piece
A stud shaped as an open rose, with one small stone held at its heart.
The petals are sculpted in layers rather than stamped flat, each curling a little away from the one beneath it, so the flower catches light at several angles at once. The stone sits in fine prongs at the centre, where the bud would be, set low enough that the petals frame it instead of competing with it. It is the Bloom pendant's idea made small enough for the ear, and it closes with a push lock.
