The piece
A drop earring with a softly curved, stone-set silhouette that swings a little as you move.
The stones are set close along the whole drop in a prong and castle setting, so the light travels down the length rather than collecting at one point. A drop earns its keep by moving, and this one is built light enough to do it - the weight is in the silhouette, not in the ear. A clip lock closes it, which is the more secure of the two closures we use.
Best with hair up, or tucked behind one ear so only one of them shows.
